Information Collection and Use
Hinton House Publishers Ltd does not collect information directly on this site.

On-line Payments
On-line orders and purchases are not processed by this site, but by PayPal UK whose privacy policy is stated at the following webpage PayPal UK. A user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) which is passed to Hinton House Publishers Ltd. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. However, financial information (like credit card number and expiration date) remains exclusively with PayPal, and is not passed to Hinton House Publishers Ltd.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the browsing session. This site does not use cookies. However, PayPal does use cookies to action on-line ordering and purchasing instigated from this site. By setting a PayPal cookie on referral from our site, the user does not have to re-enter any shopping cart information, thereby saving time. If a user rejects the PayPal cookie, they may still buy from our site although shopping cart functionality will be unavailable. Full details on PayPal's cookie policy is provided in it's privacy policy, as above.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing
We do share any data with Third Parties.

We may use a credit card processing company, currently PayPal UK, to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Links
This website may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information associated with this website.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information to PayPal UK via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our order form, hosted on the PayPal Uk site, asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

While PayPal UK uses SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information that is provided to us by PayPal Uk is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your post code), or if a user no longer desires our service, the user can contact us and we will correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us by PayPal UK.
